A/N: Hello there, Zia here! I just woke up this morning, and I just had an inspiration. Without further ado, let’s start with the fanfic, shall we? Hope you will enjoy!

Our fate lies upon the stars 🌌✨

It was early in the morning when you and Finn started cleaning the house. You were rummaging and dusting through some old albums while Finn was arranging some old paperwork. The albums you were working on was some of his albums and your albums. When you move in with Finn, you brought your albums and old pictures to remind you of your family and relatives. You did missed them very much, and it was hard to be separated from them. Out of nostalgia, you open the photo album. As you scan your main family album, you were reminiscing those times where things was much simpler.

Finn noticed how focused you are looking at some pictures, so he sat beside you and peeked at the photo album out of curiosity. “Is everything all right?” He asked you while you stare at one specific photo. His voice puts you out of your train of thoughts and reassured him. “I’m fine, thank you… I just missed spending time with my cousins. They live far away from here, so I just rarely see them. I just wish to relive this memory again.” You said. In the photo, it’s you and your cousins at the terrace, lying down on a bed foam with pillows and blankets to watch the stars. “And that’s me! Look!” You pointed to your younger self, smiling in the old photo. “You sure look really happy there.” Finn commented. “Haha yeah, I hope to see them again… Hey! Do you want to see the rest of my photos?” “If you want to, then sure!”

For the next few minutes or so, you two scanned your old photos and you told many stories behind the photographs. From your stories and pictures, Finn learned so much about you (and possibly fell in love with you harder). The way you smile when you told about your favorite childhood memories, the way you laughed at some embarrassing moments, Finn loves everything about you. After scanning through the main family photo album, you close it and put it back right to its rightful place. “Alright! That’s enough of reminiscing the past. We need to finish up our cleaning, Finn. I’ll start cleaning the kitchen.” You then kissed his cheek before standing up, and heading towards the kitchen. “H-hey! That caught me off guard!” “You should have seen it coming, flower boy!” Finn just laughed at your antics and stood up. When he stood up, he noticed the first picture he saw on the photo album dropped on the floor. Maybe it fall off from the album while you two were scanning the album. He picked it up and just stared at the picture. Seeing your youthful smile in that photo, Finn was determined to help you relive that memory; he was a man on a mission.

After cleaning the whole house, you feel so exhausted. It was already 4:50 p.m. when you finished sorting things out in the house. Little did you know that while you were distracted, Finn was preparing a little surprise for you. Currently, you are looking for Finn around the house. “Finny! I’m done cleaning the bedroom. Where are you?” You called out for your boyfriend as you walked up the stairs. You searched around the 2nd floor and stepped outside of the terrace.

There he was, waiting for you to come join him in the familiar set-up for stargazing. It brought back so many memories of you and your cousins bonding time with each other. You saw some fairy lights, candles, rose petals, tea with some cinnamon rolls, and a pillow fort supported with a bed foam under it. “Hey, orchid!” Finn called out and walked to you. He then continued, “I thought about the picture you were talking about a while back, and I want to do something nice for you. It may not be exactly the same as the memory you remembered, but I hope this will help you feel like home.” He handed the picture to you. After processing all of these, you then hugged Finn and buried your head on his chest. “Sunflower, is there something wrong? I can fix the set-up. Just tell me what’s bothering you so I can make it right—” “Thank you, Finn, this is one of the nicest things that someone has ever done for me.” You then looked up to him and gave him your biggest smile. Finn’s heart bloomed from the moment he saw your big smile; he exchanged the same sentiment and hugged you back. “So, would you like to join me in our fort?” Finn asked while reaching out his hand to you. You laughed at the gesture and take his hand. “I will take your offer.” <33

On the terrace, you two had a great time chatting, watching the sunset, drinking tea, sketching, coloring, and so much more. It is night time and you saw some stars shinning so brightly. You two then tried to identify some constellations in the night sky. While Finn tells you about the meaning behind those constellations, you witnessed a meteor shower and suddenly, you sat up. “Finn! Finn! Look, a meteor shower! Let’s make a wish. This is only a one time opportunity, come on!” Finn sat up as well not to really look at the meteor shower, but to look at you. He admired your soft expression and features as you gaze upon the starry night with adoration. Why make a wish if his wish already came true: you. He swore to himself that he will always love you and find ways to make you smile.

Your eyes met with his and you two shared a kiss under the stars. “Thank you again for making this night possible. I really love you, Finn.” “Anything for you, my orchid. I love you too.”

Through the guidance of the stars, fate brought you two to each other’s arms. ✨
